Over Easter we shall be sending home tasks to do with money and time. These should get you started on discussing time and money.
It is really helpful if you can let your child experience handling money for real, either having some to spend for themselves in a shop or just to look at and play with. Help them to understand what they can afford with their money and whether they need change.
For time we have provided a clock for your child to make in order to help them with the time problems. Again it is helpful if they can be looking at different clocks and watches both digital and analogue as well as relating time to their daily lives (e.g. What time do we get up? What time will lunch be? How long will it take to get to our destination?).
Have a happy and relaxing Easter with lots of playing too :-)!!!

This Week's Get Set Go.
There is no work sheet for Get Set go this wee. However we have been practising using "Why...?" and "Because..." The Children enjoyed making funny questions and answering them. Keep practising at home :-)
Maths revision
This week we have been looking closely at number bond in order to use them to work out more complicated problems. We have focussed on how
1+9=10 so... 10-9=1 and 10-1=9 and so on.
They can use this strategy for other number bonds. For example
3+4=7 so... 7-4=3 and 7-3=4
Its important for your child to understand the relationship between these number facts.
Keep practising! :-)
